It is Tihar here in Nepal. A time when buildings are strewn with lights and people make offerings to the goddess . Laxmi, dogs, crows, and cows, the self, and honor their brothers with protection. Yesterday I was invited to a Tihar party with some beautiful dancing and singing.

I met some lovely people, and got to get slightly out of the Valley, which was really nice. Yesterday was the clearest day I have seen here yet.
